About

Hi, I'm Prince Singh, a software engineer who works mostly with Java and web backends. I spend a lot of my time working out why a system behaves the way it does, and this blog is where I write those answers down.

#Why this blog exists

Most concepts I thought I understood only became solid when I tried to explain them in writing. Sudo Explain is where I do that in public, so that the next person with the same doubt can find the answer faster than I did.

#What you'll find here

  • Core concepts: the fundamentals that tutorials skip past
  • System design: how real systems are put together, and the trade-offs behind them
  • AI: what it does, how it works, and where it fits into software work
  • Problems I ran into: bugs, dead ends and the fixes that finally worked

#How I write

Every post follows the same shape:

  1. The doubt: the question that confused me.
  2. The misconception: what I assumed, and why it was wrong.
  3. How it actually works: the mechanism, with the smallest example I can build.
  4. The takeaway: the one thing worth remembering.

I try to keep examples small enough to run, and I say plainly when something is a simplification.
